Rectangles and Ellipses
The rectangle/square and ellipse/circle tools allow you to add mark-up or simple drawings to your documents.
Drawing Rectangles/Ellipses
Choose Tool Rectangle to enable the line tool. Press the left mouse button for the line's starting point in your document, drag the mouse to the desired end point while holding down the pressed left mouse button, then release the button.
To use the arrow tool, select Tool Ellipse from the menu.
Please note that all settings listed below are saved separately for the rectangle and the ellipse tools. Even though these settings are accessed in the same way on the menu or the toolbar, you will see that when you switch between rectangle and ellipse, the proper setting automatically takes effect. |
Keep the Ctrl key pressed while drawing a rectangle or ellipse to create the object starting from its center. |
